Nashville, TN - 9/10/2014 - As part of a tribute to the heroes and everyone effected by the events of 9/11/2001, Music City Roofers (musiccityroofers.com) sponsors a funds raiser and invites people in America and from all over the world to join in 21 day fast and prayer for America to start on 9/11 until Yom Kippur.
Jeff Richfield the owner of Music City Roofers based in Nashville Tennessee is strong in his faith as a Christian and is using his resources as a musician, author and business owner to help inspire people around the world to pray and help educate people on the power of prayer. To that end Jeff, along with other prayer groups around the U.S. is inviting believers in God from all faiths and all countries to join in unity for a 21 day fast and prayer for America.
"We live in very difficult times when the threat of war, violence and natural disaster seems to be increasing. We live in times when not everyone in America agrees on our values at home and roles as America in world affairs," says, Jeff Richfield. "And these are the very times when it is most important for us to remember that the power and presence of God is the only power that is capable of fixing problems particularly when we can't imagine any solutions ourselves. Now it is imperative that those who do believe in God remember the scriptures that call us to prayer and recognize that we are all one in the spirit and truth. Now is the time to unite in the simple act of prayer to God to help us all resolve the issues facing us particularly in America."
To help facilitate awareness of the power of prayer and to help inspire people to pray more often Jeff is donating the proceeds from the sales of his song and book, both titled, "A City On It's Knees" to benefit Worship City Prayer which is a non-profit ministry raising awareness and the importance of prayer.
